Mimi originally graduated with a degree in interior design, including matriculation at Skyline College in San Mateo, and also has a formal background in architecture. This education segued into a career as a hairstylist, as she applies elements of design and structure to her clients’ coiffure.

Mimi obtained her degree in cosmetology at the Ponce Beauty College in the Bay Area, and then began work at Jan Danis Salon in downtown Los Altos. Mimi then literally moved across the street and, for the past 20 years, has served the patrons at Mimi & Coco’s.

Mimi likes working with colors and highlights to express creativity. She enjoys being around people and making them look their best. One of her great satisfactions is sending her clients to their life events feeling confident and happy. Mimi is proud to have received awards from Goldwell, So Color and Framesi. She looks forward to working with you.

Susie graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Marketing when somewhere along the way, her desire to express her creativity led her to the beauty business. Always a girly girl, Susie grew up doing her friends hair, make-up, and nails. She also loved designing her own special occasion dresses, and was an accomplished Chanel make-up artist.

After Susie graduated from Cosmetology school, she was determined to back up her skills with advanced cutting courses with Vidal Sassoon, Rusk, Tony and Guy, and Gary Gerard. She traveled abroad and enrolled in various hair color courses to learn about the differences in hair color lines. Susie’s 25+years of experience in the beauty industry has gifted her with the knowledge of being a stylist, make-up artist, salon owner, mentor, and team player. She delights in the process of enhancing her clients’ hair, in a distinctive look to illustrate each person’s unique beauty potential and style.

Year after year, Susie always welcomes the current trend in the hair industry. She continues to seek what is desired, and makes an effort to educate herself professionally. Her belief is the perfect cut and color combination can become an expert blend of a classic technique with a contemporary flare. In addition to cutting and coloring, Susie also excels in corrective color, multi dimensional highlighting, keratin smoothing, and hair extensions. Her clients happiness is her reward.

Mirela has enjoyed a career as a hair stylist for more than 15 years.  She has studied the styling techniques of Tony & Guy and Vidal Sassoon, and consistently continues to study and update herself in cutting edge technology.  Mirela’s clients revel in her precision haircuts, perfectly designed around the individual head shape and ultimately, the “total look” of the client.

Along with her haircuts, Mirela’s services include creative coloring,  hilites & lowlites, as well as corrective hair coloring.  Her Specialty Services include Hot Heads Natural hair extensions, hair and scalp treatments, Brazilian blowouts, and luxury Kerastase treatments that will restore integrity to hair that has suffered years of damage.

Growing up in a family of hairstylists, Cynthia Jacob has over 10 years of experience in hair coloring, styling, and makeup. She specializes in Balayage hair color, women’s haircuts, various hair color and highlight techniques, special occasion makeup, and eyebrow shaping by threading. She is certified in Brazilian Blowout smoothing treatment and Hot Heads Hair Extensions.

She started her career under the training of former creative director of Vidal Sassoon, Lonny McDaniel, where she mastered the technique of precision hair cutting. Following intense training from Wella Professionals at the academy in Los Angeles, she was certified Master Colorist and Stylist. The assorted techniques she has learned over the years have influenced Cynthia’s fluency and artistry.

Cindy was trained in 1984 at Progressive College of Beauty in Medford Oregon, and has been styling hair for 30 years. She specializes in color, highlights , low lights, cutting and extensions.

Cindy also performs the Keratin Coppola Straightening system. She offers a more permanent blow out to her clients.

Jennifer Woodward has been styling the locks of men, women, teens and children for more than 20 years. Having been trained under a ‘LOREAL Color specialist’ affords her clients impeccable color and highlights.  Being certified in ‘Coppola Keratin Treatments’ Jennifer is able to offer a very high quality Keratin service.

For the ultimate luxury experience, she offers customized Kerastase Treatment Rituals, which address the specific needs of each individual’s hair.

Ana has been a manicurist in Los Altos for over 25 years. Her manicures are “perfection,” but her pedicures are the ultimate experience in relaxation.
Ana works only with “natural” nails and shellac.
